Dr. Ridhuan Joe
Education Lead
Dr. Ridhuan Joe is an Adjunct Lecturer in Sports Science, specializing in motor control and technology-enhanced learning. He earned his PhD by designing and evaluating a custom-built Real-time Augmented feedback in Learning (ReAL) Tool. Through a randomized controlled trial, the ReAL Tool demonstrated its impact on dance skill acquisition, movement recall, and learner engagement – advancing personalized, technology-assisted pedagogy. He also co-authored a musculoskeletal wellness resource for physical educators and works as a freelance dance practitioner. Although he’s not a dedicated exercise physiology specialist, he routinely applies its concepts to inform his research and teaching. His expertise bridges exercise physiology research with practical applications in movement analysis, driving the development of evidence-based programs that enhance motor control, optimize performance, and promote musculoskeletal health.
